I don't think these comparisons really matter. People will buy the game depending on what system they have and those lucky enough to have both i should imagine will decide there purchase based on controller, online and extras.
Will be downloading this later. I wonder if the doppleganger proves succesful as noted here that it will become a part of the next Tombraider game?
Really hoping this makes a 09 release. I loved Forza2 and still play it a few times a week.
I think spreading the Halo name to thinly could damage the reputation that Bungie have built for the game. Putting the Halo name on something won't automatically guarantee great sales and could damage the franchise.
The reason Halo is so succesful is because of Bungie and bungie alone. Take them out of the development and your left with an average game.
I think after ODST ( which im sure will be good) microsoft should let it lie for a bit. Maybe have a HaloCE remake for the next...
The Ps3 seems to be selling well especially at its current price point. I feel its unfair to compare it to the Ps2 especially this early on. Maybe in 5 years time we can judge it but so far 20million plus sales is excellent for a console at this price point.
With many excellent titles such as GOW3, Heavy Rain and Infamous to name just a few coming it seems like a good time for non users to get on board.
The weather effects do look good but like others on here im not to sure about the actual game itself. The engine the game runs on seems pretty solid as it was with grid and dirt and i would love to see it implemented in some other titles.. a fps for instance. Until then i think a demo is needed for fuel.

Its quite sad that people post such comments on a videogame site regardless of age, education and what job they do. I will not lower myself to get into a slaging match with such people and advise others to do the same.

I wouldn't say Killzone is more mature. I found the swearing laughable and found it actually took away from the atmosphere somewhat. I appreciate soilders swear a lot but in the game it just sounded forced and ridiculous. I really like the game but for maturity i would go for Bioshock or COD as they don't seem to try so hard.
Graphically though Killzone is stunning and as a shooter its immensily enjoyable. But i would say you are right in that killzone and Halo are very different games...
Why the hell would you want a console with a politicians face on? You may as well put pinochio on there.
By the time GTA5 actually comes out (around 3 years time at least judging by past game development) the next xbox will be out which will no doubt have blue ray so its a argument that holds no water. There is no way GTA is staying true to one console now, same goes for lots of other games. The only exclusives that are going to be left in a few years are the ones made by Sony/ Microsoft and Nintendo.

I finished the campaign yesterday and did enjoy it. Its not amazing but its solid and enjoyable. Multiplayer on the other hand is very good indeed and worth the price alone.
Well deserved. I thought underworld was great, the best tombraider since the first one and though not graphically as good as uncharted i actually had more fun playing underworld.
Downloading the DLC today.
I would have thought a price cut for Killzone2's launch would have made more sense. Its probably there biggest game of the year and with a price cut bundle and ads it could have been massive this month for Sony. Im sure they will still have a good month but im still hearing people say they want to play Killzone2 but can't afford the ps3.
I can't see a price cut coming now until July onwards.
I agree although this is a week after what is probably Sonys biggest game release so far so i actually expected the Ps3 numbers to be much higher than this.
